Q) Is your company licensed?
A) Yes! We have an active DOT number (2067172) and MC number (722804) which allows us to perform interstate and intrastate moves.

 

Q) Are our belongings insured with DC Mover when we move?
A) We carry the standard valuation that’s required by the Department of Transportation for $.60 per lb per article. For additional insurance options, we work with a company called MovingInsurance. Visit their website at www.movinginsurance.com.

 

Q) Do you hire day laborers?
A) No. Our workers are employees of DC Mover. They’ve been trained to pack and move professionally.

 

Q) What forms of payment to accept?
A) We accept Visa, Master Card, and Discover credit cards as well as cash and postal money orders.
